Ed Kellie, Founder & Executive Producer, ScreenDog Productions

Ed set up ScreenDog Productions because he was chronically addicted to coming up with TV ideas. He worked by day as a documentary and factual entertainment series producer and producer director (The Secret Life of 4 Year Olds (Broadcast Award) The Apprentice, Mary Queen of Shops (BAFTA Nominated Series)), but pitched ideas by night.

Following some commissioning success with Wildlife Jack (Disney, 2015), Teenage Ice Trekker (CBBC, 2016 Prix Jeunesse Award Finalist) and Steve Backshall Vs The Vertical Mile (CBBC, BBC2), ScreenDog Productions was born in September 2017. Since then we've gone on to produce three other projects, all with the company’s ethos of ‘edgy adventure and mischievous factual’ at heart. Hurricane Man, an eight-part about life inside the world’s biggest storms for UKTV & BBC Studios, a CBBC My Life documentary and a soon to be announced two-part prime time mini-series for Channel 4.
