Emma-Rosa Dias, Managing Director, Afro-Mic Productions

With over 18 years experience in TV production for the BBC, ITV and Channel 4, both in front of and behind the camera, Emma-Rosa is fast becoming a key industry player in Northern Ireland and across the UK. In 2018, she received an Irish Film & Television Award (IFTA) and an RTS nomination for her first short drama production, Cry Rosa.

Having begun as a commercial TV producer at one of Northern Ireland's leading advertising agencies, Emma-Rosa branched out with Afro-Mic Productions in September 2013.

Prior to this, Emma-Rosa worked within the music industry, managing various artists and record labels, giving her a broad and immersive music background.

With exceptional interpersonal skills and a firm commitment to in-depth research on all projects, Emma-Rosa's ability to bring out the character of her subjects while delving into informed debate, provides Afro-Mic Productions with a unique and personal touch to all its projects.
