Sacha Mirzoeff, Founder and Creative Director, Marble Films 

Sacha is a filmmaker and Executive Producer who pushes the boundaries of factual television, specialising in both social issues and natural history documentaries. A former Executive Producer at BBC Bristol overseeing their documentary output in Bristol, he has consistently worked at the highest level of broadcast for 20 years. Starting on a management training scheme at the BBC, he retrained as a documentary filmmaker in Bristol, after studying Visual Anthropology at Manchester University.

He has won over 20 international awards for films including Drugsland (a multi-perspective look at the drug world of one city); Protecting our Children (about child protection social workers); Charles Darwin and The Tree of Life (with David Attenborough); Elsa, the Lioness that Saved the World (Natural World for BBC); Shooting Under Fire (feature doc about photographers working in Israel and the Palestinian territories).
