Emily Elisha oversees factual acquisitions for Banijay’s TV rights catalogue. Emily has 20 years experience in the international distribution sector, originally working as Head of Sales for an independent distribution company before joining the now Banijay Rights as its Head of Acquisitions in 2003 (then RDF Rights) looking after long-running hit series such as The Supervet, Embarrassing Bodies and Rude Tube.

 Banijay Rights represents over 100 factual independent producers and networks from across the globe and manages the international roll out of successful franchises including The Secret Life of Four Year Olds, SAS: Who Dares Wins and Eat Well For Less. Around 50% of the catalogue is third party programming. The factual team offers help deficit-funding programmes via co-productions, pre-sales and sales advances.  It also manages the company’s first look and development deals forged with a number of third party production companies including Minnow Films, Storyvault Films and Nimble Dragon.
