Pat Younge is the MD of Sugar Films, a two year-old BAME-led production company creating scripted, non-scripted and digital content. Sugar’s commissions to date include Gary Younge’s Angry, White and American for C4, Bill Cosby: Downfall of An American Icon for BBC2 and Should I Marry My Cousin? for BBC3, as well as paid scripted development work for a range of UK and overseas networks.

In his 25 year career spanning news, sport, commissioning and production across ITV, BBC and C4 and abroad, Younge is the former Head of BBC Production (now BBC Studios) leading over 3000 employees delivering shows including Top Gear, Strictly Come Dancing, Dr Who, Frozen Planet, Luther and The Wrong Mans. Prior to that he ran the American cable network Travel Channel Media, where he introduced award-winning and globally popular brands including Man v Food andAnthony Bourdain: No Reservations.
