Jonathan Norman, Partner Stella EOC

Jonathan Norman has 20 years of investment banking experience, focusing throughout on the media, internet and related-tech sectors.

He started his career at JP Morgan in 1994 in the US (New York and Los Angeles), returning to the UK in 2000 as a founding member of LongAcre Partners which grew to become a leading European Media/Digital Media Corporate Finance, Advisory boutique. It was approached by and sold to Jefferies in 2007. At Jefferies, Jonathan was a MD in the Global Media and Internet Group and left in 2011 to establish NewShore Partners which merged with Stella in early 2013.

Jonathan has advised a variety of public and private companies, financial institutions and family offices on a range of transactions in the US, Europe and Asia including, inter alia, Sony, Time Warner, all3media, RDF Media, ProSiebenSat.1, Shine, Celador, Schibsted, the Mill, Double Negative, Hit Entertainment (Apax), Chorion, zefa visual media, BBC, ITV (Granada), HBO CE (Sony, Disney, Warner), PokerStrategy, Product Madness, Modern Times Group (MTG), Antenna, MGM, Demand Media and dunnhumby.

Jonathan holds a BA (magna cum laude) in Political Science from Princeton University.
