Simon Huntley, CEO KEO Films

Simon is currently the Chief Operating Officer at KEO Films. He has been with KEO for over 10 years and previously held the title of Finance Director.

Simon began his career at publishers Dorling Kindersley in 1995, and with them trained and qualified as an accountant, holding various finance roles during his five and half years there.

Simon then moved to Pearson TV (now FremantleMedia) for two years as Senior Management Accountant and Analyst. After a career break spent travelling, he then held roles as FD of Penguin TV, a TV division within Penguin publishers; FD and Founder of Gong Anime, a new media TV channel for Japanese animation; FD of Amaze TV, and finally landing at KEO in January 2009.

Simon’s experience spans large multi-nationals to ‘off-the paper’ start-ups and most things in between. Simon’s specialisms are managing business through high growth periods and identifying and implementing effective structures and processes to handle this. He also has worked on a number of merger and acquisition deals ranging from small ‘umbrella’ type deals to $100+m approaches in a plc environment.

Simon is Chartered Management Accountant (UK) and a Chartered Global Management Accountant.
