Andrea is the founder of Ypperlig, a consultancy working with media and tech companies to help them scale their content ambitions. She works both with established and emerging media companies to develop commercial and creative strategies with a future-facing focus. 

Andrea brings a deep understanding of the global media landscape and digital audiences and markets, coupled with extensive experience of translating local market insight and global trends into actionable strategy.

As Head of Factual Entertainment at BBC Studios, Andrea led the successful re-brand of the genre. She invested in and scaled the success of shows like The Great British Bake Off and worked with top on- and off-screen lifestyle talent to develop shows for the global market.

Andrea’s expertise spans commissioning, distribution, partnerships and development with a commercial focus. At BBC Studios she also led innovation work for the Content Division, developing digital and youth-skewing propositions to meet changing market demand.
