Andrew Sheldon, Creative Director and Founder, True North
Andrew is an award-winning journalist and filmmaker who works in features, documentaries and current affairs at True North. Having started his career in newspapers, he’s been telling stories that matter ever since.
Andrew is constantly breaking new ground, often in the world of the police and crime. His genre-bending Big Sting brand took the best of Candid Camera and Crimewatch, working with police forces to catch up with criminals on the run.
His eye for a story often takes him inside the stories that everyone is talking about – like the Mystery of The Man On The Moor for Channel 4 and ‘the story of the UK’s first ever hand transplant’ in My New Hand for BBC One.
His current slate at True North includes The 80s Pop Map of Britain and Ireland for BBC Four and The Yorkshire Dales and The Lakes for More4.
