The Mayor of London’s office funds Victoria Powell to set up the
UK’s first creative industries growth accelerator, supporting up-and-coming TV production companies to develop their growth plans, partnerships, relationships with commissioners and buyers, and their investment readiness.
Equality, diversity and inclusion ethos locked in from year one, with the inaugural programme over-representing multiple under-represented groups.
Indielab Distributor Showcase launches, welcoming the key distributors from across the UK TV sector, to meet and do business with indies on the accelerator programme.

GrowthLab London launches, quickly establishing itself as the leading UK TV market event and conference focused on doing business for UK indies and content creators, featuring a Market Hall of partners to finance and distribute shows, and a Commissioner Zone populated by broadcasters and platforms from the across the sector.
