Be the welcoming face of GrowthLab London 2026 Our Front of House volunteers are right at the heart of the action, helping industry professionals and attendees have a fantastic experience from the moment they arrive at the Barbican. This is a fast-paced, people-focused role where no two moments are quite the same. You could be counting attendance, managing queues, scanning tickets and passes, helping audiences find their seats, welcoming festival guests or making sure speakers arrive at their Q&As on time. You’ll also be one of the friendly faces people turn to when they have a question, so you’ll play a key role in creating a warm, welcoming and professional atmosphere throughout the event. This role could be perfect for you if you: Love meeting and helping people Enjoy working in a busy environment Have excellent customer service and communication skills Are confident speaking to members of the public and industry professionals Like being part of a team and staying calm when things get busy If you’re friendly, enthusiastic and love being around people, we’d love to have you on the Front of House team.

Commissioner Zone Volunteer

Get a glimpse inside the business of television. The Commissioner Zone is where ideas start to take shape. It’s a dedicated space for meetings between commissioners and creatives, with people pitching ideas and exploring opportunities to develop new work. As a Commissioner Zone volunteer, you’ll help make sure these important meetings run smoothly while getting a fascinating insight into the pitching, commissioning and idea-generation process. It’s a unique opportunity to see some of the conversations and connections that sit at the heart of the TV industry. This role could be perfect for you if you: Are genuinely interested in the TV industry and how new ideas become programmes Have excellent communication and people skills Are organised and have a good eye for detail Are confident keeping an eye on timings and schedules Are interested in the business and development side of television Would love to gain insight into industry meetings and pitching If you’re curious about what happens behind the scenes when the next big TV idea is being developed, this could be the role for you.

Accreditation Desk Volunteer

Be the first friendly face attendees meet at GrowthLab London 2026 The Accreditation Desk is the main welcome point for the conference, with up to 400 attendees collecting their passes and getting ready to experience everything GrowthLab London has to offer. You’ll be welcoming attendees, checking them in, distributing passes and helping answer any questions they may have. It’s a busy, lively role that will put you right at the centre of the event. You’ll get the chance to interact with a wide range of people while experiencing what it’s like to work across multiple event spaces at a major industry event. This role could be perfect for you if you: Are friendly, approachable and confident Love interacting with people Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment Are interested in events, hospitality, TV or the wider media industry Want to experience what it’s like to work at a large-scale industry event

Event Runner

Ready to be at the heart of the action? If you’re someone who loves variety, thrives under pressure and is always ready to jump in and help, the Events Runner role could be for you. This is one of our most varied, energetic and unpredictable roles. You could be supporting the Commissioner Zone one minute and helping a VIP guest speaker get to their venue on time the next. You’ll be responding to what’s happening on the day, solving problems, supporting different teams and helping keep the event running smoothly. It’s a fantastic opportunity to get a behind-the-scenes look at event production and see just how much goes into making a major industry event happen. This role could be perfect for you if you: Have a positive, can-do attitude Are energetic, enthusiastic and adaptable Enjoy solving problems and thinking on your feet Are confident taking on different tasks throughout the day Work well under pressure Love being part of a busy team Want to experience the production side of a major event Barbican venue knowledge would be a bonus, but it’s absolutely not essential. If you want a role where you’ll be right in the middle of the action, meeting people, tackling challenges, and seeing how the event comes together, this could be your GrowthLab London adventure.
